Hear from the current delegates
I decided to join the summit because I work with CSR in the drilling industry. I have much experience with CSR in general and hope that the summit will provide me with even more details on CSR in the extractives industry specifically. I am also looking forward to networking with people dealing with the same challenges and opportunities and exchange experience with them.
Maersk Drilling - CSR Advisor - Rikke Eriksen
…I have extensive experience from all business in Metso with the exception of Mining. Being responsible of the sustainability development of the company, it's then a good idea to fill my knowledge gap and understand also how CSR works in the mining industry especially.
Metso, Senior Vice President - Sustainability & Technology Development - Lennart Ohlsson

You won't find a better conference for CSR executives in the Extractives industry - anywhere.
- Get your chance to talk openly about your challenges with the rest of your industry: the whole conference is run under the Chatham House Rule (non-disclosure rule)
- NO powerpoint rule - no time for PR pitches. ALL sessions are an opportunity for in-depth discussions and debates on what matters most to you
- Go back to the office with solutions: we've developed a series of interactive round table to ensure you take away as many actionable points/best practice from this conference as possible
More reasons why this is the ONLY industry-specific event on CSR you need to attend all year:
- Best practice and strategy targeted at your priorities: We do more primary research than any competitors. That means our agendas are more relevant and insightful than anywhere else
- A total focus on corporate priorities and learning: Too many conferences 'pad out' their list of speakers with gurus, service providers and consultants. We will deliver you 25+ expert corporate peers - people who can help you improve based on real experience
- Solve problems with peers at the gathering place for the corporate responsibility executive: Have a look at our list of past attendees and you'll notice that we have a far higher proportion of corporate execs attending vs agencies and service providers. You'll be working side-by-side with senior peers
- A history of success - a conference that works for corporates: We've been in this space longer than the rest. This is our fifth conference on CSR specifically for the Extractives industry, and we've got plenty of proof that our approach works

My greatest regret is that I wasn't able to stay through the entire conference. The discussions were good, with many gems of information to take away. There was a good balance of industry work and NGO contributions, and I felt that most of the participants were willing to listen and learn versus advocating their positions.
Hess - Libby Cheney - VP Corporate EHS & SR
