Which is the right subscription package for me?

Where did the print magazine go?

At Ethical Corporation, we strive to be as environmentally sound and progressive as possible. As such, we made the tough decision to discontinue the printing of the monthly magazine and switch to a fully digital mode of operating. We will now be offering 12 issues per year, instead of 10. Plus this new method means we can provide our readers with a more highly-integrated experience, including various forms of multimedia in the digital magazine, as well as a whole host of new and exciting content.

What's the difference between the various levels?

The right Subscription package for you is down to mainly one thing; how many users you are looking to subscribe. In general the higher the subscription package, the greater value and benefit it will be to you. For example, the Professional Subscription plus digital magazine costs £1,295 +VAT. Three Individual subscriptions plus digital magazine costs £1,485 so you would be saving £190 straight away.

That's not even taking into consideration the money you would save on the 3 free business intelligence reports and the increased discounts on our other products and services.

If I choose an Individual Subscription can I upgrade if I find out more people at my company want to subscribe?

Yes. You can upgrade your subscription package at any time during your subscription year. All you have to do is call our Subscriptions Accounts Manager on +44 (0)20 7375 7235 to arrange the upgrade. We normally work out a pro-rata rate on how long you've been subscribed for and then deduct that off the new package.

What is the length of our subscription and can we get a discount on signing up for longer?

Subscriber packages are based on an annual subscription. It is possible to sign up for 2 or 3 year subscriptions where you will receive a 5% discount on the price you pay in the second year and a 10% discount on the third year's subscription.

User Access, Subscriptions, Upgrades & Intellectual Property

Can I share log in details?

No. We view the sharing of login details as an infringement of our intellectual property and as illegal. We reserve the right to take legal action if we see this occurring.

Can we set up a group log in?

No. Account sharing is not permitted. Each user must be an individual rather than a group. This does not apply to Enterprise/Organisational or Unlimited Academic level subscriptions where an unlimited full user online access has been agreed. The unlimited online access is usually granted through a referral URL.

Can I add subscribers who don't work for my organisation?

This is not possible as subscription package users must be within a single organisation.

How can I upgrade my subscription?

The easiest and best way to upgrade your subscription is to call our Subscriptions Accounts Manager on +44 (0)20 7375 7235. We will ask what you require from your subscription and then suggest the most suitable package for you.

If a subscriber leaves the company and the subscription has been paid for by the company can we move the subscription over to another person for the remainder of its days.

Yes. We're more than happy for you to move the subscription to another user if the original subscriber leaves the company. Simply let us know the new subscriber's details and we'll switch it over.

Can I re-print/re-distribute content that I've obtained through our subscription?

Generally, no. You could tailor an Enterprise/Organisational Subscription package to cater for this need. If you have not set up a subscription that specifically caters for this then we would see it as an infringement of our intellectual property. If you wish to do this on one off occasions, contact us +44 (0)20 7375 7238 to talk through how this can be arranged. We're always willing to offer our subscribers the best service possible.

What's the license agreement for Unlimited Academic Subscription packages?

All agreements are based on IP ranges and the number of maximum concurrent users. Any person can gain full access to the subscriber-only part of the website, as long as they're accessing the site within the IP address/ranges agreed for the subscription.

Unlimited Academic Subscriptions allow for the institution to copy, share and print articles for use in lessons. There is no maximum number of times an article can be used, however a subscription still needs to be live for distribution of subscriber-only content. If a subscription lapses, all Subscriber-only content can no longer be distributed and/or copied.

As mentioned all Unlimited Academic Subscriptions are monitored by maximum number of concurrent logins. As soon as the stated maximum number of users are accessing the site, any further users attempting to access the site will not be able to.

The person that agrees the Subscription with Ethical Corporation will be that Institutions Account Manager. Any issues that students and/or staff have should be addressed to the Account Manager. They should then liaise with Ethical Corporation. The Subscription is set up so that only the Institution's Account Manager can receive subscription information.

Institutions can embed the Ethical Corporation website within their intranet. Articles can be posted within the Institutions intranet providing the article references and contains a link back to the original article in Ethical Corporation's website.

Can I carry over unused benefits (such as report credits) into a new subscription year?

No. The benefits do not accumulate or carry over. However, previously acquired reports remain accessible in the account as long as a subscription is maintained.

Can I still access the subscriber site if my subscription lapses, or if your waiting for payment?

No. Access to our site is only granted when a subscription is live. Your yearly subscription only becomes live from the date of payment.

Can I download and share copies of the reports?

Each subscriber has the right to download copies of the reports and store them locally. Any sharing outside of the subscriber group without our permission would be treated as an infringement of our intellectual property and as illegal. We reserve the right to take legal action if this occurs.

If we have multiple subscribers in our subscription package can they each download different reports?

No, this is a group licence and the number of reports is tied to the account. If one subscriber downloads a report it becomes available to all subscribers in that account.

Renewals & Missing Magazine Issues

How do I renew our subscription?

To renew your subscription simply click here or call +44 (0)20 7375 7237. You can renew your subscription at any point during your subscription period. The new subscription will not commence until the current one ends.

How do I cancel my renewal request?

To cancel your renewal request simply call us on +44 (0)20 7375 7237.

What if I haven't received a magazine issue?

If you find you haven't received your monthly magazine issue please inform us ASAP. If we're notified within 90 days of the issues publication date, we'll send you another copy of the issue free of charge. We'll also ask you to confirm delivery address details.

If you continually find you are not receiving your magazine issue, we'll need you to check that there are no problems your side - be it either problems at your local post office or at your company.

If missing issues are requested after 90 days post publication, a £39.99 admin and postage fee will be charged.

Refunds & Cancellations

What are your terms on cancellations and refunds?

To be eligible for a refund on an Ethical Corporation subscription you need to inform us in writing using either email to or Fax on +44(0)207 375 7172 or writing using registered mail to Aoife Farrell, Ethical Corporation Client Services, FC Business Intelligence, 7-9 Fashion Street, London, E1 6PX within 7 days of purchase. A full refund will be issued as long as you have not downloaded a report, received a copy of the magazine, accessed the subscriber-only areas of the website or used any of the available discounts. As soon as you use any of the benefits or services of subscription then you are no longer eligible for a refund.

Please be aware that there are individual Terms and Conditions for some elements of subscriber services such as events which may differ to our policy on subscriptions and full details can be accessed through the conference websites. If you were to use none of the benefits stated above from your subscription during the first three months of your subscription you would be eligible for a refund but would be charged a 15% administration fee. Thereafter no refund is payable.

What happens if a subscription renewal goes through but I didn't want to renew?

Just let us know within 14 days of the renewal and we'll immediately refund the full amount and cancel the subscription.

Payment and pricing

Do you offer free trials or discounts?

Yes, we offer a free 2 week trial. You will get two weeks access to the website. To get more information on a free trial click here.

Can I take out more than one free trial?

No, the two week free trial is to give people a sample of what just one of the benefits of subscribing to Ethical Corporation. Once you've taken a two week free trial your email address will be blocked from taking another one. We also monitor the free triallist requests. If we find someone taking a second free trial using a different email address we'll assume this as a subscription request and charge you for a six month Individual subscription.

What are the different payment methods?

We accept payment via secure online card transactions for most major credit cards. We can also take payment by cheque or bank transfer.

Do you issue invoices for our records?

Yes these are issued to you in PDF format following the confirmation of your order. A PDF format receipt will be generated and sent once payment has been received for your order.

Do I have to pay VAT?

The prevailing rate of VAT will be charged where applicable.
